Students in grades 9 through 12 will have a unique opportunity to continue their high school credits. Blyth Academy Florence offers Cambridge IGESC and A level as well as Ontario courses which are accepted by post-secondary institutions in Italy and all over the world. Our future plans include the possibility of offering Advanced Placement courses as well as SAT preparation.
As part of the experiential learning process, Blyth Academy Florence will include ﬁeld-trips and excursions designed to relate directly to material covered in class. In addition, students will be able to choose optional trips day and weekend trips to further explore Italy and Europe. When it comes to excursions, all roads lead from Florence. Indeed, some of the world’s most iconic experiences are just a few hours from this world capital of art, history – and timeless beauty. Students may experience the storied cities of Venice, Siena and Milan; taste the best of Tuscan cuisine; soak in the beauty of the Maremma Beaches; and explore the Ferrari and Lamborghini Museums. More information on optional excursions will be available in Summer 2017.
Blyth Academy Florence will offer comprehensive university and college counselling to both students and parents. As well, during the holidays Blyth Academy students will have access to guidance staff at our schools. In Canada and the US. Blyth Academy is very proud of its success—last year we placed 98% of our students in the colleges and universities of their choice.
